ramadhan festivities

starting senior year of college

here's the inspiration ;

found the top

from an overseas online shop

that i shall not disclose

*just across our shores*

which cost me about 72 ringgit

for a simple tee like this?

pfft!

items needed:

fabric paint

boyfie tshirt

spray mount

silkscreen

step 1: design, measure the stencil on tshirt and cut it

step 2: spray stencil with spray mount so that the stencil

stays in place, reduce bleeding of fabric paint too

step 3: spray some spraymount on a mounting board

and slip the tshirt inside

step 4: place stencil on the tshirt, followed by

the silkscreen. then put gallops of the fabric dye

on top of the stencil within the silkscreen frame.

use a long strip of mounting board to

spread the fabric dye

step 5: remove silkscreen and stencil gently

and use hairdryer to dry the print

step 6: mark about 1'' to 1 1/2'' from the original hem of collar

of tshirt as a guide to cut

then cut 1'' from the original hem of the

bottom tshirt

step 7: ROCK IT!

put a ring on it ;

i was rearranging my accessories one day

and found a bunch of black plastic bangles

never been worn

and would be such a waste to throw it

then

mom suggested me to recycle it

make a accessories hanger instead

as seen in the IKEA catalog

items needed:

1) a bunch of plastic black bangles

2) hanger

3) garden wire

simply bind 2 bangles together

vertically&horizontally

with the garden wire

depending

on the length and rows you wish to have

then bind the top part of the rings

to the hanger securely

once done

give it a good 3 coats of spray

any colour you choose

and

hang it

as you can see

i used it

as a tangle free necklace hanger

can also be used as a earing hanger too

and ask for Kevin Ng
as she sed he's very good

she even asks us to come along
with her and her boyfriend if we want to
HAHA!!
even if we don't plan on getting any
it'll be fun to have a chat with the guy

dad's in johor
visiting my grandma

of travelling to another state

i went to johor last weekend
with my family
my grandma's admitted
due to stroke
i cudn't bear to see her depressed
that she couldn't walk
the left side of her body can't function

not sure how much i can cover
but
will try to read as much as i can
thought of heading to starbucks

finger ache

though we have to study for ms. jinchi's quiz
next week, we actually had fun preparing for the event
and juggle to create our own artwork based on 5
different themes given in the brief..

the 5 months long break is getting closer and closer
ngeeeeee!!!!
i can't wait!!

here's a list of things i wanna do during the hols:
1) catch up on sleep

3)catch up on books i've read halfway..eheh

FOR A PERFORMANCE

most probably
i'm doing a classical music event
based on some posters i took pics of
earlier on as research

once ive got that over and done with,
IM OFF WITH 5 MONTHS BREAK
come SEPTEMBER i'll be starting my 2nd year
good gosh! how time flies sooo fast..
i made a to-do list on what i'll be doing
during the break but.....
like new year's resolution, i dont think
i'll keep up

on the other note,
i feel like my future plans are gonna change

PLAN A;
i plan after i've graduate
i wanna work in a publishing house
like Klue or Seventeen mag
and work my way up from there
4-5 years of experience
then i work freelance

NOW
my boyfriend is planning to open up
his own production house soon
as he's gonna be graduating
and not only asking my favour
to design the business card, check out places to rent
but also be part of the design team too

part of me don't wanna join the
team yet as i wanna build my own
experiences first
and sometimes its not a good idea for
husband and wife working together :P
but on the flip side,
if i were to work freelance,
my boyfriend can help me out
as he's business savvy and im not

his friend even urged him to ask my help
to design a logo
for an indie indonesian band
i agree to do it
the asking price is rm500 bucks

man..i ACTUALLY can imagine working under my boyfriend
so im thinking
either i go for plan A then join my boyfriend
or join my boyfriend straight away IF i dont get
job offers

after 14 years of living
has returned to Cat Heaven
where she will be joined by her partner
Diana, which is a MALE cat
(at that time i was too young to differentiate animal gender)
Ironically, she was buried right next to Diana's grave
when Percy was 7 years old
She died of eye cancer

When i had her, one of her eyes
was already blind
The vet said that
either
1)remove the eye that has the cancer
2)let him do chemotherapy on her

of course my family choose not to do
anything as she's gonna suffer anyway
plus she's getting old
so it's best to just let her live her last days

man...to think that cats can die of stroke too

and the grand prize winner
is Mr.Hafiz who

ironically, before the prize giving event started,
he asked me if he could share 2/3 of the laptop
if i win..

i submitted 2 designs which was mounted
on the wall of designs during the event
really wish i could take it home coz it looked sooooo good!

in a way, i sold my royalty right for rm1300

its the eve of my birthday

what do i remember about being 18?
well..
firstly,

IM LEGAL

legal to have sex and drink

and

ive been living for the past 18 years!

seriously

what i can reminist about
is that

i started college
experiencing whole new atmosphere
sounds cliche i know but
it's true
it feels so different compared to highschool
you start to worry about what to wear to class
when in highschool you just put on the
baju kurung and white shoes and off you go!
but then again,
i learn to take my work seriously
and putting effort to it
dividing your time well
and balance it with fun

but more importantly,
my circle of friends grew bigger
i met pretty cool people
who make me laugh
every single day
putting a smile on my face
no matter how much workload i have

oh and i got my driver's license
dad gave me a car
PERODUA VIVA
SILVER
i called her NICKY
she suffered minor scratches
thanks to my carelessness

some friendships are rekindled
especially with some of my ex bfs..
like my first bf, we're now like
best friends
talking stupid stuff and asking for advice
especially on relationship advice
its kinda weird but
its good i guess
it shows that we still care
for eachother but that all we can offer
to each other-FRIENDSHIP

i don't know what else to write now
should be gettin back to work
til midnight
and greet my birthday..

haven't been in a good shape lately
i don't feel like myself
been having mixed feelings about something
until it came to a point where
i wanna break free
free from all the silly nonsense i have with him
and don't give a shit about a thing anymore
but then again, its selfish of me
to feel that way

there's a quote saying
"learn to love yourself before you learn to love another"
i don't think i love myself enough to make people happy
to make him happy

because i don't think im not strong enough to handle
the BIG, and i mean BIG amount of pressure

it's getting harder to be patient with someone
no matter how hard you try
and keeping your emotions to yourself
and putting on a fake smile

i thought i wouldn't let things get to me
but it did!

it came to a point where
my head goes blank
and left me speechless

i am able to help the people around me

i really need to be at peace

when a relationship turns abusive

but i cant
I NEED TO LET OUT THIS FEELING

this DISTURBING feeling

NOW!!

you see, one of my best friend just got out from
an abusive relationship. It all started with her being
verbally abused by her boyfriend.

Then, the beating began..

ALL BECAUSE OF SOME MISUNDERSTANDING OVER ONE OF HER BLOG POST

For that point on, she was ready to walkout from the relationship
but because her boyfriend manage to convince her to stay,
she hold on

slowly, the abuse brought her into darkness
a lowpoint in her life

She began to experience depression
not wanting to eat
cutting herself
even tried to commit suicide
there was even a point where she felt like
she did'nt have anyone to turn to
when she knows she's surrounded with
people who she could count on for help..

the girl i used to know has
CHANGED
she was'nt the head strong chick
who takes control of the relationship
when it became sour
she never looks back
NEVER

all she need was a lil bit more of courage to break free
thankfully, she found that courage

NOW,
she's really happy with her life
with a new love by her side
whom makes her laugh
and definitely treats her right
but most importantly,
she's free

BUT what really bugs me is that,
all the stories i read in advice columns
or whatever type of media
actually happens to my best friend
MY VERY OWN BEST FRIEND!

and sadly, i can't do anything about it
the only thing i can do is to just
BE THERE FOR HER
and hangout,
call her whenver i can

the thought of her
actually tried commitng suicide scared me
i even saw the scars of the cuts she made on her arm
what if her attempt of commiting suicide
ACTUALLY succeed?

So, if you are in an abusive relationship,
SAVE YOURSELF
its not worth to be stuck in it
IF he slaps u in the face, WALK AWAY
DON'T EVER TURN BACK
if he threatens to kill himself or whatever shit,
LET HIM BE
IF YOU"RE EVER IN TROUBLE, DONT' EVER HESITATE TO ASK HELP FROM YOUR LOVED ONES
IF HE REALLY LOVES YOU, HE WOULD TREAT YOU WELL WITH RESPECT
YOU DESERVE BETTER

Fun at the peak-A LAST MUNTE PLAN that actually WORK!

It was Thursday when me, Nadia, Muja, Nadhirah, Iman, Ken, Mat and a bunch of his friends were havin lunch at the new Rasta. Since class was canceled on Friday, Mat came out with a brilliant idea -A TRIP TO GENTING!!. As we all know, last minute plans DON'T really work out but we give it a shot. WHATEVER HAPPENS, HAPPENS....

That night, Nadia had problems with transportation. That point, i thought
maybe the trip would be called off

but guess what?

THE PLAN WORKED!!!!!!!

Firstly, I picked up Nadhirah and we headed to college as i need to drop off my exemption
letter. Our meeting point was at Iman's house so i left my car at college. When we got to Iman's house, Muja left his car there and we rode on Nadia's Kembara.

AND OFF WE GO!!!!!

We parked our car at the Kelana Jaya LRT station and we took a one way train
all the way to Terminal Putra, Gombak. The journey took about 30 minutes.
When we got there, we bought the shuttle bus package thingy which includes
2-way shuttle bus pass, 2-way cable car pass and indoor+outdoor theme park pass
that means, WE DON'T HAVE TO QUE UP FOR ANYTHING!!

We board the bus at 12pm and the journey took about 40 minutes. Then, we
rode on the cable car. Its known to be the fastest cable car ride in south east asia or some
shit like that. FASTEST MY ASS!! it was soooooo slow!! it feels like forever to
head to the top..

Once we reach there, the fun begins..

we were about to head on down the outdoor park but...
IT WAS RAINING HEAVILY!!!
so while waiting for the rain to stop, we tried on the rides at the indoor theme park
First was the 4D motion master.
It sucked coz' the storyline was lame-its about Ali Baba! and we couldn't see properly
through the 4D glasses..

Then, we rode on the Euro Express. It was okay but they could have made
the ride longer. The rain stopped. YAY!! so we head to the
outdoor park..

We rode on the spinner. Then, it's the Spaceshot. This is a drop ride where you're hanging at God knows how many feet and BOOM! you drop down within how many seconds. Me, Muja and Mat didn't go on it. According to Iman, it's a nice view from the top but when dropping part happens,
you could feel your butt lifted from your seat. Funny thing is, Nadia rather ride on the spaceshot that any roller coaster rides...

Then we all rode on Corkscrew. It's a freakin' scary roller coaster ride as it has lots 360degree turns. On the way back, we took pictures of the London double decker bus and the red phone booth. The last ride was the Flying coaster. Only me, Nadhirah, Muja and Mat rode on it and it was awesome shit!!! Though the head rest smells like sweat, i could feel like i'm gonna fall of
my seat whenever there's a turning. I could imagine if we let go of the ride handle..

We miss our bus back home which was at 4.15pm but luckily we
manage to get the 4.45pm bus. By the time we reached the Kelana Jaya LRT station, it was 7pm..
Though the trip was short and some of us felt like losing our voice, we couldn't believe that
WE ACTUALLY WENT TO GENTING!!
overall, it we had good fun

this shows that sometimes last minute plans
DO WORK...
